So what is going on?

It has been a long time (way too long) since my last post. But a few things came up that diverted my attention away from this project. In fact, those things have not gone away yet, but I feel that they are enough in control that I can get back into it. Apologies for the vagueness, but they are personal related, and I don’t think the whole webverse wants to know….

The good thing is that the time has allowed me to ponder this project some more, and I am even more passionate about it!

Although there has been little activity, there is a few things to discuss. You may recall in a post from some months back, I went and saw a lawyer for advice – FAIL!! The asshole never got back to me afterwards. After many emails, I did not even get a response. So he’s out of the picture. Yesterday I sent an email to another law firm that specialises in charity law. I hope to get a response today, otherwise I will be going old school tomorrow and picking up the phone.

The other thing that I got into doing this week was writing a Strategy Paper. You will see I posted yesterday with an article on creating a Strategy Paper. My first draft is done, and I will trial it on the lawyer when I meet them. The strategy paper is important and a great way to summarise the whole thing. And it is also a great way to keep yourself and your work aligned to the initial goal.

So what’s next?

Time to get back into it by reading some of the stuff I put together last year, and I also want to finalise the UI, I have not finished that as yet, and I wasn’t sold on where I was going with it last year. I will try and get those things wrapped up this week, and hopefully next week I can actually start writing some code woohoo!!!!

I am super excited to get this out now, but it will take time. I hope you are all still following the adventure – we’ll get there baby!!!!
